Seven main classes of nutrients are fats, minerals, fiber, carbohydrates, proteins, water and vitamins. Nutrition is mainly classified in to two, macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrients consist of carbohydrates, proteins, water, fiber and fats. Macronutrients are vitamins and minerals.
