  1. Never follow any fad diets. They are capable of providing prompt results that will make you happy for a short period of time but, as soon as it is temporary, you will get back to your form and shape again. Instead, opt for healthier foods and smaller portions.
  2. Activity is another thing you should not forget about. You will not be able to lose weight just by changing your diet. Your body needs exercising and with it only you will succeed. If you feel bored alone take a friend with you to jog or for a work out in gym.
  3. Forget about TV. You can not even imagine how much time does it consume, let alone all the junk information you get from there. Make sure your remove it from your bedroom and the place where you eat.
  4. Avoid sugary drinks – they are really bad. Soda, fruit drinks, or juice loaded with sugar are the surest way to add a couple hundred of calories. These beverages are the reason that people drinking them gain weight in really short time. Therefore, if you opt for health and weight loss, refrain from them and drink water instead.
  5. Think before you eat. Think about what you plan to eat, do not grad the snack mindlessly. Ask yourself if it is hunger, or it may be thirst? Or it is just a craving? By controlling yourself like this you will be able to avoid a lot of unnecessary things and stay healthier.
