Lavender oil is dissolved in ethanol what causes a wide range of its medical implication. Application Methods and Doses of Lavender Oils
In order to take the lavender oil inside, it is recommended to dissolve 2-5 drops of the oil in spirit or honey and take this mixture not more than 2-3 times a day.
Cold or hot inhalations are prepared with 3 drops of oils. And you can make them not more than 7 minutes.
It is normal to feel light tingling when you apply oil to the skin. Lavender oil uses are allowed even for babies after 1 month in case a baby does not have intolerance to the components of the oil. It perfectly mitigates and кemoves muscle spasms and excessive tonus in legs.
When you prepare a bath with lavender oil, please, remember to dissolve the oil in some emulsifier, otherwise, you can get a burn. You can use soda, sea salt, yogurt, kefir or sour cream as emulsifier. The dose of lavender oil for an adult is 4-7 drops per 30 ml of emulsifier, and 2 drops per 30 ml for a child.

Contraindications to the Usage of Lavender Oil
Despite the versatility of lavender oil, there are people who have individual intolerance to it. Also it is not recommended to combine application of this oil with taking Iron-containing drugs and medicine which include iodine.
Be careful when choosing a true essential oil of lavender. It must be packed to the 10 ml bottle of dark glass which contains the “100% Essential oil” mark, the producer’s title and the method of production. The seller must have certificates proving the quality of the product.
